A jósokra különösen igaz a mondás: "Mondj igazat és betörik a fejed." De ha egy jós hazudik, akkor meg felnégyelik, megégetik vagy vízbe fojtják. Nehéz és felelősségteljes munka. Civilizált korunkban ugyan a fenti halálnemek már nem fenyegetik a jövendőmondókat, ha azonban nagyon mellélőnek, nevetségessé még válhatnak.

Reméljük a lentebb idézet újság írója működő kristálygömbbe kukucskált, amikor megfogalmazta a magyar gazdaság különböző szektorainak 2013-as jövőjét. Cikkében a biztosítási, az energia, az autógyártási, a banki, az ingatlan és a lakossági szféra kilátásairól írt ékes angol nyelven. Az alábbiakban idézni fogok mindegyikből és nektek hozzá kéne rendelni a jóslatokat a szektorokhoz.

1. Households are facing increasing difficulties in shopping, especially when it comes to staple products like food. While the government previously voiced high hopes that the overall stabilization of the economy would lead to the reappearance of household spending as they go ahead with previously postponed purchases, any such expectations may well be swept away by the costs of basic goods.

2. It is believed that a lot will depend on any new measures to be implemented by the new head of the NB of Hungary. Corporate and retail lending is expected to further decline in 2013. The deterioration of lending portfolios is likely to continue, although at a slower pace.

3. This sector has reached a low which is, ironically, the basis for optimism: it can only get better from here. Still, it is highly susceptible to changes in overall market confidence. The prolonged crisis of the euro zone, compounded by the often haphazard policymaking practices of the government, isn't conducive to large improvements.

4. As professionals often highlight, in an environment where major market players are forced to contribute to the state's efforts aimed at mitigating the impact of the crisis, this sector has remained completely isolated from all such burdens.

5. In 2013 it will be characterized by stagnation and declines, reflecting the shape of the economy. The crisis tax, the windfall tax and strict price regulation all hinder activity in this sector: there are no new investments and developments exept the existing ones.

6. The early repayment scheme for mortgage loans caused heavy losses to the sector, as a lot of people had cashed in their life insurance to pay back their mortgages under very favourable conditions. And this year is not expected to be any better, with the introduction of a tax from January.
